Over 1400 WhatsApp hacking incidents reported in the past four months in the country

News Today: Incidents of hacking of the messaging and calling application WhatsApp are increasing rapidly in the country.
Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Cybercrime received 1426 complaints of WhatsApp hacking during 4 months.
According to the Home Ministry, FIA Cyber Crime has received 1426 complaints of WhatsApp hacking since July 1, 2024. The FIA cyber crime wing has recovered 549 accounts while 877 are working on complaints.
