Pindi Residents

Newstoday: Rawalpindi residents have started to boycott Fruits from Buying after the high prices of eatables and the skyrocketing price of Fruits. Activists request the public on social media to boycott fruit prices. To fight high prices, citizens boycotted fruit purchases for two days. The boycott was first limited to Rawalpindi, Islamabad, and Karachi, but it rapidly extended to other cities, with people actively participating in making the campaign successful.

Despite several public objections, authorities from the district administrations of Islamabad and Rawalpindi turned a blind eye to the situation. Profiteers and hoarders, according to reports, have hoarded numerous fruits in their stores to create a fake shortage and hike prices. Initially, just a few residents indicated an interest in the effort, but as word spread through social and mainstream media, a considerable number of people joined. By day four, the market situation had become extremely fascinating, and the campaign had a good impact on both the populace and the government.
