Peshawar Becomes Asia's Largest Market for Honey Business

Newstoday: According to a recent survey, KPK is ranked as the biggest bee breeding company, producing 30,000 tons of honey annually. According to the report, the international market is known as Asia's largest market as it exports 300 to 400 containers.

The bee industry was started in Pakistan by an Afghan refugee in 1989. The business was just started with five boxes and now it reached a billion boxes. Around 15 lakh people are involved in this business where 30,000 tons of honey are produced annually and it is exported to the Gulf countries.
