Rs1000 4G Mobile Phones to be Launched in India

Newstoday: Baharat Company Reliance Jio Infocomm, the telecom business of Mukesh Ambani's Reliance Industries, announced on Monday that they are bringing a new offer of a 4G-enabled phone for 999 rupees ($12.19). 'Jio Bharat' is the name of the phone. In India there are atleast 250 million mobile phone users who got trapped in the 2G era unable to access basic internet features at a time when the world is on the verge of a 5G revolution." When Jio was created six years ago, we stated unequivocally that Jio would go to whatever length to democratise the internet and bring the advantages of technology to every Indian.

Reliance Jio Chairman Akash Ambani stated, "The new Jio Bharat phone is another step in that direction."According to a Reliance statement, Jio Bharat is being launched with the goal of providing every Indian with the power of digital services, particularly those who cannot afford a smartphone. This will actually be the beginning of Digital Freedom for India's 250 million feature phone users, bridging the digital gap. The beta testing for the first 1 million Jio Bharat phones begins on July 7th.
