Newstoday: Murtaza Wahab, the Sindh Chief Minister's (CM) Adviser on Law, declared that the provincial government would issue replacement motorbikes to people who lost their cars in the May 9 arson and unrest in Karachi.  The police have collected data on the damaged or destroyed bikes. The Sindh government will also repay people whose cars were destroyed by the protestors. Following the imprisonment of former Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan, Wahab says that fans and activists of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) committed damage and destruction. Individuals seeking restitution must submit a First Information Report (FIR) about the occurrence. This will bolster the cases against the arsonists.

AIG of Karachi recently met with SSPs who is engaged in the inquiry and ordered them to contact victims of the May 9 riots and record charges based on their allegations.
