US Announces to Establish e-Mobility Research and Development Center at LUMS

Newstoday: Authorities from the US government and the LUMS have announced a forthcoming collaboration to enhance the LUMS, Lahore, electric vehicle research and development centre. This research and development centre will make breakthroughs in locally manufactured electric cars with the goal of increasing their use in Pakistan's governmental and private sectors. At the ceremony, Geoffrey Pyatt the US Assistant Secretary of State for Energy Resources, praised the long history of cooperation between the US and Pakistan. "This RD facility is another another milestone and example of how the US-Pakistan 'Green Alliance' is collaborating to enhance Pakistan's clean energy goals. Dr. Tariq Jadoon, Vice Provost of LUMS, and Dr. Arshad Ahmad, Vice Chancellor of LUMS, expressed gratitude for the US government's continuous support in constructing a clean, effective, and reliable power sector in Pakistan, as well as laying a strong foundation for the country's sustainable and inclusive growth.
