Complete Shutdown in Occupied Kashmir Against G20 Meeting

Newstoday:A full shutdown is being held in occupied Jammu and Kashmir today in protest of India's hosting of the G20 conference in Srinagar.The All Parties Hurriyat Conference announced to has called for a shutdown, which is being endorsed by other Hurriyat leaders and organizations. In a statement, the APHC stated that by hosting the G20 summit in Srinagar, the Modi government intended to deceive the world community about gross human rights abuses and to cover up its crimes in the occupied region.According to Abdul Hameed Lon, an APHC leader, civilians in occupied Kashmir are subjected to torture by Indian authorities. He described the absence of China, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia from the G20 as a positive development for Kashmiris.

Meanwhile, Indian troops, paramilitaries, and police have been heavily deployed around the gathering site in Srinagar. The G20 tourism summit will be held in Srinagar, Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, from May 22 to May 24 at the Sher-e-Kashmir International Convention Centre. New Delhi has extended invites to international organizations and guest states for the occasion.Egypt and Middle eastern countries have not completed its registration process for the G20 summit so they have to skip it.
