Newstoday: The resolution commemorating Pakistan's Constitution's Golden Jubilee was approved by the National Assembly with no disagreement. The resolution, which was introduced by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and overwhelmingly accepted by the Parliament, was adopted. Constitution Day has been designated for April 10 in the resolution. Every year, Constitution Day will be observed across the nation. According to the resolution, Constitution Day will raise awareness of the Constitution and its significance among the populace and throughout the nation. The governmental institutions should take all necessary measures to secure the defence in order to preserve the interests. The resolution mentions federalism and the established division of powers among the three state bodies while expressing pride in the history and heritage of the creation and acceptance of the 1973 Constitution. Aside from this, the resolution has stressed the significance of upholding the constitutional principles of federalism, as well as the independence and impartiality of the court, provincial autonomy, and individuals' basic rights. The 1973 constitution was revised multiple times, including under the dictatorship, according to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, who was speaking during the National Assembly session. But, the constitution is still in effect today. According to Shahbaz Sharif, this constitution was created 50 years ago by political rivals working together, and today is a crucial day for democracy. This accomplishment will go down in history in glowing prose.
