NewsToday: The Democrat party letter of Hakeem Jeffries (Hakim Jeffries) was chosen as the letter of choice among US ambassadors.

According to foreign media, Hakeem Jeffries, 52, is expected to be elected party leader without opposition.
Hakeem Jeffries was elected to the United States Congress from Brooklyn in 2012, where he first served. It will be the first time a black person leads either chamber of Congress in either chamber of Congress when Hakeem Jeffries becomes the party's leader.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced her retirement, which deserves a mention.
