Cyber Crime

Newstoday: According to a forecast produced by cybercrime analysis provider Spyware, 721.5 million credentials would be exposed on internet platforms by 2022. The majority of the compromised credentials were obtained via malware-infected third-party applications. In addition to the disclosed credentials, around 22 million devices were afflicted with viruses and malware. According to the statistics, 72% of the leaked credentials are still used by the owners with no changes. As a result, internet users are being advised to change their passwords immediately in order to avoid this, particularly those who use the same password across multiple sites.
