Parliamentarians to Donate One-Month Salary to Earthquake Victims in Turkiye and Syria

Newstoday: Members of the parliament recently stated that they will contribute one month's pay to help those affected by the earthquakes in Turkey and Syria. Rana Muhammad Qasim, a PTI member, suggested to Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, speaker of the national assembly, that the needy people of earthquake victims in the friendly countries receive their one month's wage.
Ramesh Kumar, a member of the PTI party said that we must help the people in the hour of our assistance and need and provide them with huge financial assistance. The opposition of the national assembly said that it is a positive step to be taken by our members that we together help them by donating them our monthly salary. After a long debate in the house, the speaker concludes the debate with the remarks that the salary of the house members will be donated to the people of Turkiye and Syria.
