Sweden ends its embassy in Pakistan.

Newstoday: The reason of shutting down is security concerns, Sweden has shuttered its embassy in Islamabad indefinitely. According to the Swedish Embassy, it will be closed to visitors and will be unable to transfer papers to its consulates, Service centers, or applicants' houses. Although the embassy expresses regret for the inconvenience, it emphasizes that the safety of its workers and visa applicants comes first. The embassy has declined to indicate when the mission in Islamabad would reopen. According to foreign sources, Pakistani students applying for admission to Swedish academic institutions would be the most impacted, as the new school year begins in August and the passport application process generally takes 4-6 months. The abroad Pakistani community is attempting to contact the Pakistan Embassy in Stockholm and the Foreign Office to inform them of their predicament. The protest was broken out against Sweden country for involving in Holy Quran burning case after which Turkish closed its embassy.
