Toyota Vehicles Manufacture Shuts Down its Production Plant Till Feb 14

NewsToday: Indus Motors Company and Toyota Vehicle manufacturers announced shutting down their production plants in the country until next month. The reason behind closing the production plants is insufficient inventory level.While the letter, addressed to the manager of the Pakistan stock exchange, said that the recently launched new mechanism Vide EDP circular no 20 of 2022, dated December 27, 2022, the Pakistan commercial banks were advised to facilitate import to specific sectors only.
The company needs to work on importing raw materials and receiving consignments from the banks. These laggards have disturbed the auto supply chain, and vendors could not supply raw materials to the components to the company.
