Demands for VPN Increases By 846% In Pakistan After Social Media Blockage

Newstoday: The blockade of the Internet and social media platforms has made people go through the implications in Pakistan. The blockage happened after the arrest of Imran Khan on 9th May. After the blockage people move towards the VPN service. The interior minister ordered to blockade of the country-wide internet service for the country's reputation and safety. But now, he told in the talk show that there will soon be an announcement of internet service and the restores of the social media apps. But Pakistanis cant wait without using apps due to which people use VPNs in a large amount. VPN enables people to connect with worldwide people in the chaos and such crackdowns. VPN works as a lifeline but wifi users were able to use the internet but data user is still facing this issue in Pakistan. After the arrest of Imran Khan, there was a country-wide protest which makes damages in the large amount in the large cities of Pakistan.
