Newstoday: Adidas' market share in Pakistan has increased by 6% in the last year. According to data, Pakistan currently has the world's third-greatest market share in the Adidas accessories and gear sector, after only Turkey and China. In this particular category, Pakistan now owns 21% of the market share, while Turkey ranked 25% and other and China holds 28 percent. Pakistan's market share increased from 15% last year to 21% this year. Adidas is the world's second-largest sportswear producer. According to facts, Pakistan's market share increased due to a growth in sporting goods exports, particularly footballs. Football exports increased by 35.70 percent, from $114.5 million last year to $155.4 million this year. This was largely owing to the FIFA World Cup in Qatar last year, which used Adidas-manufactured footballs made in Pakistan. Over the years, Pakistan has been a major supplier of footballs for mega-events.
