Twitter Laid Off More 200 Staff After Musk Downturn in Company

Newstoday: According to the New York Times article, Twitter experienced at least 200 layoffs yesterday. Approximately 2,000 people were laid off, or 10% of the computer giant's current workforce. Over half of Twitter's 7,500 employees have been laid off since Elon Musk took over in October. In a tweet after employees learned of their destiny, Musk said, "I hope you have a great Sunday." She said that she was "very proud of my team" after being one of those who had been freed from the Twitter Blue verification subscription business after the first day of her remaining life.

He was also unable to access his work emails as a result of Twitter's purchase of Revue in 2021. Martijn de Kuijper was also fired after Twitter purchased Revue.
